Home

Life is a story. The more you get into it, the more you go out. But in life, there’s one thing that lasts forever. It’s a home. Then again, there’s many people who don’t even know what a home feels like. I’m writing this for Habitat for Humanity to show that it doesn’t matter where you live to have a home. So, what is the meaning of home? The meaning of home is safety, comfort, and love. Safety: Safety is where you feel like no one will hurt you. No one can steal from you. Safety is where you and your family feel like you’re welcome and safe. Where you can relax without anyone looking at you. A place where you know you're fine. Comfort: When you feel safe, you want to feel comfortable. Comfort in a house can make that house feel like a home. You want somewhere to be happy and joyful with your family. It’s the place where you can sleep properly with heat and love. Love: You might think that having a family and house is all love is, but, no. It’s not. Love is where you and your family work to make that house a home. A memorable place even if you move. You put your affection into the house to make it a home even if it’s musty, dusty and old. You want your love to be as big as the home. Maybe even more. This is what I think a home means to me. Safety, comfort, and love. I hope I shared my meaning of home the right way for everyone to know a house is a house. A home however, a home is a place that’s beautiful. Even if it’s old, it will always have a place in your heart forever.
