What Home Means to Me
What Does Home Mean to Me?
By Harmony Hurt
My home is my safe place,
and I know I can feel great.
Although the top is a cone,
I can talk to my friends on the phone.
I can express myself without being judged,
I can be me and have so much fun.
It contains a lot of memories,
and it makes me feel good.
Even though we fight,
We can make up and make things right!
When my cousin and I try to cook,
it gets burnt so we must unite.
When I cannot sleep my mom comes and comforts me until I say good night.
There is so much love and affection,
the light shines through so bright.
It is not just my family that makes a home,
But my pets and friends and that’s my poem!
