House vs Home

House, home. Are they the same? Well to me they are different. House means a building, or a space to live. A home is not a place, nor a thing. It is more a feeling or a suggestion inside your head. A home is a place where you can feel sad, happy or scared. A home is a place where you can be anywhere! When you feel at home you can be with anyone or anything. Home is way better than gold or a diamond ring. I feel at home when I am with my family or in my room, writing in a journal about things I want to do. House is a place that has four brick walls. It is where you sleep, eat and watch TV. House is a shelter, a place to live. You can move houses but not homes. Your house can be any size. Small or big, be grateful for all. Some people don’t have a house or even a home, a nice place to sleep or clean water to drink. At the beginning, a house just seems like a building. But as you stay there over time and make memories that never go away then you have made your house into a home and that is there to stay. House, home are they the same? For me, no. A house is a physical thing, a place where you live but home is a feeling that can never change. You can be anywhere in the world and still feel at home because your home stays with you no matter where you go.
