Home Is Not Just Where The Heart Is But A Feeling
Ah, home! What a wondrous place
With laughter and love on every face
My home has a big place in my heart
Unlike a house, my home and I will never part
A home can be many different places or things
You can feel at home in the coldest of winters or the warmest of springs
A home is a place where you can be who you want
It could also be anywhere from Berlin to Vermont
When somebody says home you would think of a building
But home is not just a house, but many things
Home can be feelings like love and joy
Or listening to music and playing with a toy
A Home is a place with memories galore
It’s not like a house with four walls and a door
However big however small
A home is a place that welcomes all
Your home can be a quiet place, where you get away from all of the action
Or it could be a loud family dinner and social interactions
Your home can be a place where you go every day
Or it can be a place in your mind where you go to getaway
Everybody has a home but some don’t have shelters
But if we build houses for them it would be a great helper
Even if they don’t have houses there still apart of humankind
We’re so lucky to have people that build these house and leave no one behind
I’m so grateful for habitat for humanity
For supplying people with houses without any vanity
They provide the houseless with shelters of their own
They give them beds so they no longer have to roam
A house is a blessing that many don’t own
But a home is a place where you don’t feel alone
A home is something that will be with us throughout time
Whether we’re in the lowest of downs or the highest of primes
If my home is where my heart is
Then my home is in every single place
But right now my home is with the great people of habitat for humanity
For putting a smile on my face
Home is a feeling, not a house made of bricks
So you should always remember home is where the heart is
