This is What Home means to Me
The meaning of home to me is warm, loving, and caring. It makes me feel safe and loved. A place where I can do whatever I want without being embarrassed.
I have my own room to calm down if I'm angry or have some alone time. I can sleep, play and relax. A place where I won't feel frightened or cold, a building where I can share my emotions without worrying of feeling awkward.
And I have a dog to keep me company. Two brothers to keep me entertained and a family that loves me.
Something I love doing in the winter is go into my backyard with my brothers and we have 30 minutes to build a wall. And then we have a snowball fight. Sometimes when I'm feeling cheeky when my brothers are targeting each other and I make a snow sword and sneak up on them and get them in their arm and then I can charge at the remaining brother.
I love playing games like Minecraft with my brother. Once I built a sky castle and my brother raided and destroyed it.
I have a dog that always gets excited when it sees me. Especially when I come back from school or come back after a week.
When I go to sleep, I feel heavenly angels of warmth surrounding me as I sleep. I have always felt safe at home and never ever have I been hurt in my house. I get to spend time with my mom and dad every week and when my mom hugs me I feel a breeze of love fly by me.
And when I get to watch movies or play games with my dad. It makes me feel loved. This is the meaning of home to me. Warm, attached and safe.
