Home

Home is a small word with a big meaning, if you think home is just 4 walls and a roof then you're wrong, home is a wonderful place to be. So, what is home? Home is a place where you feel comfortable. Home is a place where you feel safe. Home is a place where you can be yourself. Home is a place where you belong. Home can be when you're with your family, your friends, and maybe even when you're with your pets! To me, home is when I'm with my friends, whenever we run across the open fields at our school or whenever we laugh at a silly joke it makes me feel at home. Even though we’ve had our highs and lows, ups and downs, and even though we’ve had arguments, we’re all still friends in the end. It always seems that whenever I'm with them, they make it feel like home. Which is why I’m writing this poem, to help the ones who don’t have a home or a house. It’s hard to believe that some people don't have friends, family, pets, or a place to call home Charities and foundations can make a change to the world, this charity is just making us write words on a page. Which is why I've written this poem of all to see that not all people have a place to call home, and that is why we should all try and make a change.
