Home

Home, mental, comforting and a place where you can be yourself. House, a place that you can touch, feel, and where you have to hide. Home and house will never be the same. They may mean the same thing to you, but to other people they are completely different. House is a physical place, like a building. Home is a place in your head, somewhere you can go when times are tough. Though they are different, they have one thing in common, they share memories. Memories that you can look back at. Some people have a home, a loving family and somewhere they feel safe. Some people have a house, a space where they don’t feel like they belong. A place that’s dark and empty. Even if you have a home, it doesn't mean everyone else does. Just because you have loving parents, a place where you can eat and sleep feeling safe, doesn't mean everyone has that privilege. The meaning of home.
