Home
Home is something mental, somewhere sweet, warm, and gentle.
A House is somewhere physical, somewhere cracked, hard, and brittle.
Home is like a sentence in our book,
One of the fish on the hook.
Home does not need a “the” or “A”,
It is just “home”, no need for a fancy name.
A home can be anything, anywhere,
from the greatest mansion to the darkest lair.
A house can last for years to years, holding all the excitement and tears.
But a home keeps the memories for as long as you remember them,
For you treasure them, as if they were a gem.
A home holds every tear you cry, each drop a star in the sky.
Some are born, whilst others die.
There’s no reason to wonder why.
