A Warm Place
Four walls unpainted and dark
In those walls is a dirty old mark
Then the door opens
A bright light floods in
A couple of redheads
With a little bedhead walks in
The couple starts planing
About the new linings
What color the wall will be
Maybe a blue like the sea
Soon after much planning
They brought in their tools
First they painted the walls
Walking through malls
Making dividers throughout the house
There was no room
Not even for a mouse
When they lit the first fire
Warmth filled the house
The little old mouse
Had never felt this warm
In any shape or form
‘’This is much more cozy’’
He said his cheeks all rosy
When the fire died out and the day was done
They went to sleep dreaming of sheep
The very next day when the sun rose high
They swept the floor
And brought in their stuff
Finally a place warm enough to stay
