The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where you make memories. A home is a place you share with the people you love. The home I live in was built by my dad. I helped out where I could. I remember helping put the outside walls up with my family. I was really happy I could be part of building my home. Last year during Covid when everything was locked down and we had to go to school online, and the world felt scary, I felt safe in my home. Everyone I loved was safe in the house, even my dogs. During the lock down last year when hockey was cancelled and arenas were closed, my family built a hockey rink in the backyard. My family and I played hockey games and my little sister learned how to skate backwards. We laughed alot and had so much fun together. The world was scary but I was able to have fun and feel safe in my home.
