A Home Is More Than A House

A home is more than a house Because house is where we live But a home is what we can give With some help from our family and friends a home is where it all begins A house has some walls and maybe a table too But my home has my memories and its where I grew The home that I have has walls that can talk They say that the time goes by with a tick of the clock. that's why with every second I get I spend I thinking of what will happen next I wish everyone could have a safe place to call home. A cozy place to sleep And a nice place to eat And a sweet home that by the help of us is complete Home is where we belong Home is where I feel the most strong I can be myself in every way My home is where I laugh and play From the big to the small From the sea and the sky thats blue My home has the hearts of me and you A home is not on the outside,not how big or small but on the inside you can see it all My home is where I dream and its where I am inspired My home feels like the nice warm fire Like that feeling inside In my home I don’t have to hide A house is a place A home is a warm embrace A house is an empty space A home is something you can’t replace And that's why a home is more than a house
