There is No Place Like Home

My home was once a house silent and empty. My home is now a home as special as can be. It gives me this feeling filled with happiness and joy. Surrounded by loved ones such as girls and boys. Home is a spot where I giggle and laugh. Somewhere I feel happy, glad and sometimes sad. A place I can be myself and not worry about what others think. Being very kind, generous and loving. Waking up every morning, going to bed every night. Looking out the window seeing the beautiful sunrise. Spending time with my family walking, talking and playing. Having fun, enjoying life every single day. I’m so very lucky I could write this poem. To talk about the important meaning of the word home. A wish that I have I hope could come true, Everyone who is homeless could get a home too. Some people have a house but not a home. A home is more than a building, it’s a feeling, a place where you are not alone. I’m sad for those who don’t have a home. No matter who you are, everyone deserves a home of their own. My home is my life, a part of everything that happens. Making hopes, dreams, memories and passions. Home is not what's on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. From the day it all started to the person I am now.
