The One and Only Home!

It’s called home. H-O-M-E. Everywhere you go you see houses. But they are not home’s. Let me explain the difference. Houses have roofs, rooms, doors and walls. Homes have love, care, fun and safety. For example, when you move to a house it has roofs, rooms, doors and walls, it doesn't have love, family, care, fun, or safety. In your home, everything in there has a special place in your heart, a special memory for the people you live with. A house has four walls that hold no memories. So, if you go up to someone and say “do you want to come over to my house?” then you don't really love it. If you did, you would say “do you want to come over to my home?’’ I know it sounds weird to say but if you say it often then it will sound like saying, “brownies!’’ and I LOVE brownies, but I also LOVE my home.
