The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is a place where you feel loved and safe. For example Sharmain and Melody and their children did not feel safe and like they belonged in this home. I think this because they had bug infestations and melody could not enter her boys room because she was in a wheelchair and could not get up stairs. Also they did not have clean water. So they did not feel welcome and I think if you do not feel loved in your home then it is not your home it is just a building you spend time in. But, habitat for humanity made them feel welcome in a home and turned a building for them into a home where they do feel safe and loved. So this is why I think a home is a place where you feel safe and habitat for humanity really changed their life.
