Home Is Built on Memories
Home isn’t just rooms
with a ceiling and walls
It’s not that…
not at all
Home is Where
your height at each age
is on the wall
Where you would
make fake puking
noises in hopes
of staying home sick
So instead of being
of being at school you
could run, play
and throw sticks
Home is the memory
of
being sung asleep when you were two
The place where
you are with people you love
and the people who love you
A home isn’t built on pillars and walls
home is built on memories
and I cherish them all
As I grow up and get tall
I hope
to make more
I hope
I can help those who are poor
And I believe that everyone
Deserves the memories I have
That no one deserves
to always be sad
But when we all come together
to help, things get just a little less
Bad
