What Home Means to Me

Home means to me a place where I can feel where I have shelter and heat. A place that I feel accepted and welcomed. It's somewhere that I can think that I am safe from the outside. It's a place where I can feel grateful that I have a place to stay. Like a rainbow, each colour standing for what my house has in it. Warmth, food, comfort, shelter, water and memories. Good ones, bad ones. The thoughts I make along the way may change and morph, be forgotten and locked away inside my mind. But they are still there, starting from my house, my parents and my siblings. A house is a lot more than four walls and a roof. It was where I started. My house is a place where I can live and thrive. That is what home means to me.
