When my parents came to you You were just a house Even though You carried One couple One measly sofa One move That could Hopefully Would Hopefully Should Hopefully Change Everything You held space For a Family In a Home A brand new baby boy had been born Something was still Missing: “We need something new!” And there I was Something new One more thing to hold In a brand new Old home You held me Grew with me As I grew with you A childhood friend I didn’t know I needed You Changed Made Held All that I Love You Started as a house Learned to hold a family You will always be my home Thank you Home
