What is the meaning of home?
Home is that warm feeling. Whether that's a sleeping bag on a busy street, your grandparents old cabin in the country, or a small apartment in New York. When I get home the greeting I get is a playful shove from my brother, my mother yelling for me to clean my room, and my sister going through my drawers AGAIN. No matter how annoying all this is, THIS is what that home feeling is to me. Even if your home is a thin blanket outside of a convenience store there is always that one good thing like your cat huddled in the middle waiting for you to get home, knowing that they would never run off. Home can even be more than one place!
I feel at home when I'm at my cousins, friends house, or even my local playground. And no matter how crazy this sounds home can even be a person. You can just sense it. You can have a close connection and when you're with this person… you never want to leave. For me my whole neighborhood feels like home. Like there's this big bubble around it making one big house. One big happy family. So what's one way I can describe it? Love. Now that's home.
