Meaning of home

The meaning of home to me is knowing that I belong in my home. When I’m at home, I can feel safe and not judged. In my home. I have fun with my family and friends, from playing games, to watching movies. If I'm sad sometimes, being at home with my cats and family makes me feel happy. In my home my favorite room is the basement because it's where I play video games. When we live in a home not a house, memories are made, some are bad, some are good. A home is a place you feel safe and not threatened. Home isn’t a building, it's a community. It's a place where friends are made. Home is where everyone is different or just gets along. In some places, other peoples homes are dangerous where they live or don’t feel safe, but with habitat for humanity more people have a place to call home each year this is what home means to me.
