The Meaning of Home

Home, the place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household. According to Google this is the definition, but in my opinion there is way more to a home than just that. In my opinion a home is the place you live and the place you feel safe, happy and cared for by the people around your home. A home is not to be confused by a house. Although they might sound like the same thing, a house is typically a large building with lots of space. A home is wherever you live. It could be the same thing if your house is your home. If you do not feel safe in your home, then it is not good. There probably are lots of unhoused people who do not feel safe in their homes , which is why we have to get them to better homes where they feel happy. This would be really good because then everyone can feel like I feel when I get home. Happy. I feel happy to get home and I think everyone should feel that way. In conclusion my opinion of home is the place you live and the place you feel safe, happy and cared for by the people around your home. I hope I can win this contest and impact my area.
