Home
There once was a girl named Lily
And her house was cold and chilly
Her mom couldn't pay the rent
So she was never was warmed by the vent
She felt a warm sensation
It was her brother mason
He brought her a toy
It was a teddy named roy
They danced and played
There day seemed okay
Her mom got a call
It was her friend Paul
Paul came with good news
While the kids were all a snooze
He said he found a house
But there's one problem; a tiny mouse
Her mother said okay
The kids overheard and said hooray
Were moving tomorrow
And the kids weren't in a sorrow
The kids went to bed
With no thoughts in there head
When they woke up
The mom had a cup
When you were sleeping
We moved you to a place with good roofing
Lilly and Mason said finally a home
Were we can now roam
What do you mean a home its a house
Even though there is a tiny mouse
Its not a house anymore we have always been a home
Because we've been with each other to the bone
Now it will always be a home
Even if we don't have a garden gnome
