Home

Home. It means many different things to many different people. For some people, a home has four walls and a roof and sits on a flat ground. For some people, home is in the middle of the train yard doing graffiti on train cars. For some people, home is inside a tent in the mountains or prairies. For some people, home is a small apartment. Many people have different opinions about what home is. I will share with you my opinion about home. Home to me isn't exactly four walls and a roof. Home to me is in an area with transit, roads, bike paths, and in a location located near everything. My worst nightmare is living south of Anthony Henday Drive. I love living next to the University of Alberta. It is a very neat location. The river valley is nearby, downtown is nearby, and so is the college plaza shopping center. My home is a big house with so many cool things such as a chairlift all the way from marmot basin. It has a mini elevator, two fireplaces and one fire pit, two rooftop patios and so much more. But I hardly even notice a single one of those things. I spend most of my time looking at paper maps. But I notice my family. I notice the things that mean something to me. Not the mini elevator that is used once every 3 months. Not the two chairlift chairs that are only sat on in summer 1 once every day. Even though I'm from a hospital in the south, I like to say home to me is in a good location with my family.
