My Home

Home is somewhere you feel love, laughter, safety, trust, happiness, comfort, hugs, and smiles. I Love my home. It doesn't always have to be in a house. My home is at the beach! I love the sun, sand, and water. One day at the beach I woke up and I was happy, and I mean really happy. My dad and I went in his blue truck. It was hot when we got in the truck and drove. The cool air blew like a winter wind and I felt so much better. We got to Gimli and we went to a restaurant called Smile Thai. I ate hot and sour soup. It was like a volcano in my mouth. Then I had a banana roll with chocolate sauce and boba tea. Then we went to the park. It had a zipline, animals, shops, food, wood swings, a Flintstones house, and a wooden teeter totter. It was like a cottage carnival. Then we went to Gimli again to swim and go on a kayak. I fell off the kayak trying to ride it. Then I convinced my mom to let me go on our seadoo that my brother drove. I was scared and held my brother so tight cause he was going so fast. I was so happy to be with my brother, we screamed woohoo and did donuts! Then I hugged my mom and ate dinner. I had chicken fingers and 7up then I went home and watched a movie. I went to bed dreaming about all of my adventures. I chose to write about my summer home because that is where I’m surrounded by everyone I love. It is my home where my heart is. Thank you Habitat for Humanity and I hope someone gets a new home.
