House Vs. Home

My house is walls, floors and a roof. My home is love, support and safety. A house can be destroyed, a home can only be damaged. A house is nothing but material. Home is pure honesty and emotions. A house is in the universe; home is in your heart. A house can burn down, be bulldozed to wood and bricks and be destroyed by natural disasters. Home can get little dents with arguments and disagreements, but home is never lost. At moments you think it is gone, remember that home is never lost, but only to be found again. A house is bricks, mortar, wood framing and more materials. Home is emotions: happier ones and sadder ones. Home is a place where people support you no matter what and love you unconditionally. Home has a lot of memories too. Memories of my house are not actually memories of my house. They are memories of my home. I have lots of memories of parties, trips, meals and more. They are memories of my home. “I will never forget the red ottoman in my living room.” A house is in the universe, home is in your heart. A house is made with materials and filled with objects. A home is made of emotions and filled with memories. Home supports you from things that bring you down. Your house protects you from the weather and gives you shelter. In the end, a house is only a building without the feelings of home, but a home is something to look forward to throughout your day. Your home is always there for you.
