What home means to me
Home is a place for me to be me. Home is the place I see my family. Home is where I learned to walk.
Home is where I learned to talk. Home is the place where I have lots of fun. home is where I learned how to run. When I’m at home I never feel alone.
I have many different homes some big some small. I don’t care if they're short or tall. A home isn’t just a house or a building and at my home, I’m always learning. A home isn’t about having a ceiling is only about the warm feeling.
I have been at camp all my life because I go there all the time to hike and climb. Whenever I'm at camp I know no one is comparing and I know that everybody is caring. When I’m at camp I make long-lasting friendships.
To get to camp I go on big car trips. Camp is a time to be surrounded by the lake, field, and trees, and a time to be screen-free. Down in the sand Skipping rock or hiking and biking well we talk. Coming back year after year, it’s a place I know will always be here. As feel warm and safe I start to get enveloped by a warm embrace.
Having a home is a big blessing that some people don’t have access to. I’m very grateful for my home and am very glad that people are raising money to help people in need.
