Home, A Sacred Place
Home,
A place where I feel happy,
A place where I play and have fun,
A place where everything is wacky,
Home is where I stay under the sun.
Home is the static charge that sticks my family together,
The moments I cherish,
The moments I remember,
It's like the view of Paris during December,
Home is a silver lining to every cloud,
It's a shield that protects us from the reigning havoc outside;
Rain, Thunder, Hail, Snow,
Home will always be there for us, with love and comfort,
Home is "The Most Sacred Thing Ever".
To me,
Home is a friend,
Home is where I can desire,
At home, I can always attend,
Even like gran bola de furioso fire.
Whether I’m happy or sad,
It will always be there for me,
It’ll be there even when I’m mad,
I always and always will smile at my home with glee
To me,
The strong, sturdy structure we call “Home”,
Is better than eating a whole box of cookies,
It’s better than squishing super soft styrofoam,
And it’s way better than getting a whole box stuffed with goodies!
My home is my friend.
