The Meaning of Home

Safety, family, love, comfort, warmth. Those are some words that come to mind when I think of home. In our homes we can feel safe from storms, the danger of the outdoors, wild animals and lots, lots more. We can also feel safe surrounded by the ones we love and care about which brings me to family. Home is a place where you can feel love from your family and your pets, a place where you and your family can have a roof over your head, be warm, and have fun! Home is where we can be comfortable. We can put on our pjs and watch our favourite shows eating our favourite snacks and surround ourselves with all of the things we enjoy. Most of us probably never think of how lucky we really are to have a home. We are so lucky to have one. Home isn’t just a word, it’s a place where you can feel safe, loved by your family, comfort, warmth and so much more. A house can be made of anything, but you need special things to make a home.
