Home
A house is not yet a home.
If we can’t all peacefully roam.
My family will grow and grow.
But there are days we do not glow.
Homes should bring people joy.
To every single girl and boy.
A house is different from a home.
Perhaps a house is just a dome.
Everyone deserves a home not a house.
It doesn’t matter dog, cat or mouse.
Thank you habitat for humanity for this chance.
To give people a glance.
On what a home appears to be.
Then maybe they will see.
That a house is just four walls.
And a home is more than a few calls.
A house is filled with any random thing.
While a home is filled with everything.
A house's walls are cold and dry.
While a home's walls are warm where I lie.
Home is my safe place.
Where everyone has a familiar face.
