Meaning of Home

Home is more than the bricks and mortar, more than the mailbox and lamps. It’s a place where you are free to be yourself. Free to dance and sing and make wonderful memories with others. You may live with your friends, your family, maybe just a pet or two, but no matter who you live with, home will always be there when you need it most. Home will always be welcoming and happy because from chaotic Mondays to calm Sundays, your home will always be a safe place to live. It’s greater than a building, it's a place you can turn to for help and advice. Home is a place to celebrate birthdays and Christmases with food and family and friends. Home is a place to run around with my cousins, home is a place to stay up late and watch movies and eat popcorn with my family. Home will always be a place to have fun and make memories. I thank Habitat for the opportunity to help give everyone a home so they can make their own memories with family and friends.
