Home is where the heart is! My home is my safe place. I feel comforted, loved and, happy. When I sleep at night in my warm comfy home, I think about the people and the animals without a home.
Sometimes I wonder where my pet’s parents are and if they miss them like I do when I am away from my parents. I wonder if they have sisters and brothers like me. I wonder how annoying their family is. I wonder if they consider my home their home or if they think it’s just a house they live in. Some of my pets think of us as their parents.
Sometimes I think of what makes a home a home. A home is a place with memories. It’s where you feel safe, loved and comfortable.
A home does not have to look nice. It can look old and broken, but that’s what makes a home right? A house does not yet have any memories. It’s waiting for a family or a couple to come and make memories.
A house does not usually look old and broken down. The memories are what makes the house a home and shows it was loved.
