The Meaning of Home

Not everyone has a home. Home is a place of comfort, family, warmth and many other things we take for granted. A home is a place where you can put down your things and relax. My home is very important to me, I am grateful I have one. A home is important to everyone. A home makes me feel safe and happy. I’m glad I get my own place to do whatever. A home doesn’t have to be huge, or, even gigantic. It just needs to have a roof over my head, warmth, and a solid structure. To me, as long as I get a house it doesn’t need to be big or small, as long as I have my family with me. What would you do without a house? My answer- I do not know. Home…it can be so many things, a person, a place, or even a thing! We are talking about a building though. A home is so important. Why? Because it makes you feel safe, warm, happy, and welcomed. I feel that everyone that has one, likes having their own home. If I didn’t have a home, I don’t know what I would do. I would be tired, and I wouldn’t feel safe. I would feel scared and wish I had a house. I am having trouble just thinking of what it would be like because I honestly don’t know! My home means so much to me I can’t imagine what it would be like without it. If I didn’t have my home, I would be sad. ☹ Home is very important, and I love my home. People often take their home for granted and everyone should be able to have their own home, even if that means a little help here and there to get one.
