My Home

A house is built of walls and beams, a home is built of love and dreams. When I go home I feel loved, welcomed, safe and happy. I’m not afraid to make mistakes. I’m so glad to have the home I have. When I go home to see my family, they make me feel so welcomed. I go home feeling so happy. I go upstairs and go to sleep in my warm bedroom and cozy bed. In your home you're not afraid to be who you are, you don't get judged or anything, you can be yourself. The thing that builds your home is love. When I think of home I think of laughter and sitting at the kitchen with the people I love. A home is where you eat, sleep and grow up. My home has furniture, food and a big backyard but some don’t. So that's why I'm so grateful. My parents paid for my house then they made it into a home. They filled it with love. It doesn’t matter how big or small your house is, it matters how the people in it treat you. Some people think home is some old brick wall or wood stacked up but it’s built with teamwork.
