The Meaning of Home

I have no idea what I would do without a home. Not everybody has a home, and sometimes we take that for granted. I Feel like home is somewhere where people can feel comfortable and rest their feet. Everybody thinks of home differently. For example, I think of home as a place with family in it! If you have a home without family, friends, or even pets, that for sure isn't a home, that is just a house. And my friend, that type of a house is just a dark lonely place to sleep. I think I am very lucky to have two homes! Even if I only had one, I would still be very grateful for having it. I love my homes! I like watching movies in the living room with my siblings, I like painting with my sister in the garage, I like playing hide and seek in the basement with my friends, I like shooting pucks with my dad in our backyard! I love my homes! What would I do without one? I have no idea. I have taken my homes for granted many times, and I mean many, as not everyone has a home! And sometimes we don’t realize how good we’ve got it. My parents work hard to have a home, food and water, and I just realized that I don’t thank them enough for what the do to make sure that I can have the best life as possible. And that’s what I want for the family’s and people who are still in need of a home. Everyone deserves one!
