What does home mean to you?

Home is where I live. Home is where my family lives. It is where you make memories. Home is where you can be yourself. Home is where you laugh and play. I like how I can walk to school. Home is where my neighbour makes me cookies. It's where I am safe. I love how I look out my window and see birds sitting in a tree. Everyone should have a home. I feel so sad for people that are in the cold. They don't deserve to be out there. All young and old deserve a home. We all should have happy memories with our families. Home is where we are loved and cared for. I may not be in the same. house forever but I will always have. my memories. No one should deserve to not have a home. That is why we need to write these poems and essays so that Habitat for Humanity can build new homes for the people that can't always afford them. That is why I'm writing this essay today because everyone deserves a home. Home is where you can make lots of new memories with friends and family. Home is where I can play new games. I live with my mom, my dad, my sister and my two dogs. I have lots of great memories and everyone deserves the same. The Habitat for Humanity is great so we need all these poems and essays so more people can have great memories too.
