What Home Means to Me
To me home means not only a place but a feeling too. You may feel the feeling in a place (generic or fixed location). Home places can change but home feelings don’t often, yet they can.
I feel at home in my house and I live there. Some may live in buildings but feel at home outside, on the streets, or in the forest.
Home can be the place you have your things. Things like my favourite books I store at my home, I have a desk and a computer at my home too. I keep my toys in my home. My family is at home as well.
Home is the place you do chores and things but reap the rewards for what you do as well as doing it for others. You make a breakfast that you and others eat. You will do laundry both yours and others.
Home is where you feel safe. You know your home better than anyone else, except those who live with you. Nobody will harm you in your home, you're supported and safe.
Home is where you can have fun, you can play games and mess around. You don’t have to uphold a stiff reputation or pretend to be someone you're not.
Home to me is that feeling of safety and comfortableness in a place whether generic or fixed. Home is safe and you are comfortable there. Your home is your good place.
