Home
To me, home is not just a place where you live or sleep, it’s where your family and friends are. People say that ‘home is where the heart is’. That means home is the place where you laugh, where you feel safe and happy. Home can be in the middle of all the action, where you taste cookie dough or play sports. Or, it can be in a quiet place, with only the sound of you flipping the page of a book. What I’m saying is, home can be anywhere because when you’re doing something that you like, you get this warm, fuzzy feeling, and you know you’re home.
Or home can be the complete opposite of that fuzzy feeling. Home can be crying on a loved one’s shoulder after losing someone close. Because when you feel sad or angry, you know that the people that are there for you care about you and will help you get through anything.
Home can mean many different things. Being home can make you feel happy and safe, or it can make you feel sad and angry. Whatever makes up your home, know that you will always have that home.
