The Meaning of Home

My name is Jayde and I’m from kamloops BC Parkcrest Elementary School. I’m in grade 6. And I love being at home with my family. Weew it is nice to be home. I love my house very much. It is one of my favorite places to be. Other than going to a friends house or my Grammie’s house. Anyways I love the things in my house that make my house a home. Some of my favorite things in my home is my bed, blankets, and the food. I love the food my mom makes and you would too! It is so good, even when she makes easy things like tortellini. My mom is a really good person so is my step dad Vance! They are very fair parents and like to give me and my sister chores but not too much. Normally they make us do about 2 chores every second day. Anyways enough rambling about chose lets talk about my bedroom! My bedroom is my favorite room in the house. I love my room because it is my own space to be alone, even though my sister shares a room with me. But she is not really in there during the day. My bed is so comfortable but i still don’t get that good of sleeps because im up so late. Another thing I love about my house is the smells! Not just the food but the tings like my mom’s favorite wax melt scent. I think its called French Vanilla or something. My sister Siera, well twin sister Siera, is pretty nice to me other than when she sings “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” from Encanto. It gets pretty annoying.
