The Meaning of Home

For me, home is important because of my family, my pets and safety. My family has been there for me and I feel loved when they are around. One of the most important things in the world is going home to your family and seeing loving and caring about them. My pets are important because they help with stress or loneliness. Safety is important because if the power goes out you will know you're safe. And if you think you're not safe you can practice at home. The last very important reason is that home provides security, privacy and belonging. Home’s a place where you feel safe and secure. When you want to be alone you can go into your room and lay down and take a break, but the one very important thing about home, to me, is my parents and my family that lives inside of my home and takes care of me and feeds me. They make sure I'm safe. When I'm upset they make sure I'm ok. I would do anything to keep my home safe. No matter what happens I will try and try to keep my home safe. When I'm older I might not live there but I will always have memories there, like when I first went home I played outside with my brothers and sister. My favorite thing about home is that I used to have three brothers and one sister but now I have four brothers and two sisters. I also have amazing parents. One of the cool things is that I have an elf and his name is Swifty. He is an amazing hider. He hides in the tree and makes snowflakes in baby powder. He was in the popcorn buckets.
