What Home Means to Me

I walk into my home, and I smell my favorite meal. And I already feel like I'm home. The cats are meowing I know they're near. I sit down and relax I feel safe here. From the outside it's just a house but from the inside it's a home. Big or small it's the memories that matter. Some might have two homes, and some might have one and some people don't have a home. Good or bad everyone deserves one. When I'm home I don't feel alone. I feel safe, not scared. Your home address might change throughout the years but, you still keep the memories, and you take them with you. Some peoples home is a place on the side of the road. Or some people live with friends or family because they cannot afford a home. So, places like habitat for humanity make a big difference in the world. And I am very grateful for my home. That's what home means to me. Maddy
