HOME

Home is a place where I feel safe and warm inside. Warm feelings in the air but not always, sometimes I feel upset and sad but that can be home too. Home is where I'm finishing homework at the kitchen table and dad cooking dinner, Our puppy Charlie cooking himself by the fire and mom working on the computer on the couch. I feel at home when mom and I are making my great grandma Donnally's oatmeal cookies. And when I'm at a friend's house for a while I always know that after I can go to my safe, comfortable and happy home. In the night when I'm in my warm and snuggly bed, I think of the morning, my dad is playing happy morning music and making French toast and all of us are at the table, talking about what we should do for that day. To me home feels like the best thing ever. Like when someone I love gives me a hug when I'm having a hard time. Home feels like one of the most special things ever
