The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home What is home? Well, to me home is a comfortable place where you can heal and express emotions, which is really important. In my home, it can be VERY chaotic when there are special events/parties going on, but I'm not gonna complain. It's entertaining to be around friends and family during these events. On holidays my family and family friends get together to celebrate. We also prepare a big feast, play all sorts of games and eat different kinds of food! Events/parties have to be one of my favorite things to do in my home. Do you also have parties and events? Having fun and interacting with people is important but it’s also important to take a break and rest. Especially after an exhausting day of school/work. Always remember to rest and take care of yourself, you’re not immortal!. Home isn’t always all about having fun and eating, you may also do the boring stuff like chores (.bleh). Doing chores aren’t my favorite things to do BUT even though you may not like chores, it’s important to help your parents around the house and have responsibility. My parents always say “This is great practice for the future when you live by yourself, so your place will be somewhat neat.” Well, they do have a point so I was convinced and now I always do my chores. That’s the meaning of home to me. What does home mean to you? -Yzabela
