The Meaning of Home

What’s a home? To me a home is a family. A home isn’t just a place, a home is a feeling. A house is like an egg, when a family enters that house it becomes a home and then the egg hatches. It’s the home that’s special, not the house. Your home can be anywhere, your house can’t. Your house has a foundation with bricks and a roof. A home is where you make memories. A house was once owned by someone else, but your home was always yours. Not everyone can buy a house, but a home has no cost. As your life goes on, you get older and so does your home. Your home can change. You can change the color and the things inside your home. Your home was dirty, then you cleaned it. Your home was empty, then you filled it with wonderful things. Your home is where you and your family live. There are as many beds as family members. Your home can be anything you want it to be. You might have a dog, a cat, a fish or multiple fish or even a bird. Your home is also your pet’s home. A house is anyone’s, but a home is yours. You might go to school or not and you come home and you feel free like you can do whatever you want. You eat at your home, you sleep at your home and you be yourself at your home. So I’ve told you what a home is, what do you think about a home?
