My Home - My Happy Place

A home is not just a house, an apartment, a condo, a tent or a trailer – it is a gathering place where fun memories are made with family, friends and pets. My home has lots of hugs and kisses and everyone respects each other. It is a place where traditions and memories are made, a place to feel comfortable, where meals become a place to talk with each other. My home makes me feel safe and happy. It is a place where you can play games, have lots of jokes and not be afraid to try new things. My home has lots of love and enjoy fun adventures. It does not matter how big or small your home is – it is a place of hope and an area to feel proud of. My home is also my community which I share with everyone. Everyone shares kindness and respects each other no matter what your age, background or where you are from. We smile at each other. We walk together on the same paths and I learn games and the way of life from other parts of the world. I am grateful for the space (my “home”) - I share with my family, friends and community members.
