The Meaning of Home

Hi my name is Kinsley, I am in 6th grade and I am 11 years old and I am going to be writing about The Meaning of Home but first I am going to tell you somethings that make me feel safe when I am at home, when I walk in my front door as soon as I walk in the smell makes me feel cozy and warm and safe. Now I am going to tell you how to make a house into a home. People. My mom always wakes makeup for school and I hate it but I still love my mom. It's just I don't like being woken up. I don't really get to see my dad often because he is always at the gym or he is at work or he is at a friend's house, he also gets up really early in the mornings. I don’t get to see my grandparents often too because they live really far away from us. Senses. When I come home from a friend's house or my grandparents house when I walk in my front door as soon as I walk in I smell what my house smells like and not like my friends house or my grandparents house. If I am at a friend's house or at my grandparents house I like to open a window sometimes because it remedies me of the noises around my house. Feelings. When I walk into my houseI feel accepted because I feel safe because it is my home and I know that no one is going to make fun of me and no one will judge me. How to make a house feel like home is to make the home like something you and your family like and hang up some pictures. That is the end of my Meaning of home writing. I hope whoever read this I hope it was a good story.
