The Meaning of Home

Hi, my name is Ty. I go to Parkcrest Elementary. The three things I talk about are the things that make my home stick together. I picked these three things because they represent my home the most . In these following paragraphs you will learn what makes my home, home. I feel at home when I see my family. When I get home after school I walk into the door of my home and I feel safe. In my house I am surrounded by my family. My home is a safe place with my family to protect me. Home is a place where I feel most safe. Home is where I can feel loved. My family is the heart of my home. I feel loved when I get home. As I get home and see my family, they hug me. It makes me feel loved. And being loved makes me happy. Usually when I'm happy I'm in a good mood. And a good mood equals a good day. It’s very important to be loved. Being loved by other people can affect how you act towards others. And can help you be more successful. When I walk through the door I only know it's my home because of the senses. The smell tells me it's my home. Seeing my dogs and family. Hearing my family's voices. Tasting the food my mom cooks. Smelling my family when they hug me. All those things make my home, home. In my home I have my family. My family makes me feel loved. Love is a very important thing. Love in my home keeps us together. The smell in my house smells like my family. All the senses make it feel like home. And that's why these three things make my home feel like a home.
