The Home Poem
A home is the best thing in the world.
It is a beautiful code
that makes me want to explode.
My house is the best house in the neighbourhood’s history.
I see laughter as I walk through the door.
It is full of love, I want more.
I hear silence as we sleep at night,
Woof, I hear barking when my dogs play and fight.
I see the amazing big house I go to when I get off the bus.
I taste the delicious food my mom cooked for us.
I smell the beautiful food my mom cooks. Yummy.
I feel the smooth door knob as I open it.
A home is where I feel safe. My house is as safe as a vault,
Even when I get home I feel like I can do a somersault.
The house I live in is the best in the world.
I love to be in my blanket curled.
