What Home Means to Me
Home is a place where many feelings swirl around
Happy ones, troubling ones,
sadness and gratitude.
Home will be a comfortable place for any like you
Home will be sweet fun and will take you from the street
And it’s where you will see all your lovely family
Never alone in the old or new home
I have always cherished those moments
United forever, we’re together as one
When older, we’ll grow as memories will also
Home will be the start of your very life
Shining as bright as the shimmering light
Your home will forever be your destination old or new
Wherever you go, your home will too
Even though you’ll arrive night or noon
Home will shine as bright as the moon
Time will pass and you will too but home will forever be a memory of you
All of Humanity deserves to have a home,
All humanity deserve the life we have,
Being homeless does not mean they’re bad
Rich or poor, healthy or not
Home is a place that should stay in your heart
I feel sad when I see someone on the street
Even though it never happened to me
Anyone and everyone needs a complete life
I wonder why they have to live on dry concrete
No one on the street should have had this defeat
I made this poem to help build homes
To bring the homeless from the street
I hope that they’ll be as happy as me
Home is a key to happiness
I hope they’ll experience that as well.
