The Meaning of Home

My home is a place of my own, somewhere I feel safe, special and part of my family. My home is a safe place where my family and friends can feel safe. I don’t have to worry about anything. I can be myself. I can make my own decisions. I can choose what I want to wear, make my own food and take a bath whenever I feel like it. In my room no one disturbs me and. I know my home is built with brick and concrete which is tough and strong. My family protects me by checking on me to make sure I’m okay. I feel safe in my home. Home is family. When I’m home I’m always welcomed by my family. They show me love, they care about me. They treat me like a special person. They bring me breakfast in bed and cuddle with me when I’m in a bad mood. My family matters to me. They have been with me since day one of my life. My home will always be my special place. It's the only one I have. I love spending quality time with my family in my safe home.
