My parents built this home from scratch My home was built with structure and support Walls all around to keep me safe and warm Most importantly, my home was built with love My Home To me, my home means family and love It is my favorite place to be More than a house with things inside My home is my sanctuary My Home I am grateful to have a home like this For others that do not have what I have My wish is that they will some day I have good memories in this home and will cherish them forever My Home My parents continue to pay the bills, so I can stay here I have a place to say goodnight and a place to wake up too I will always be grateful for what I have I will continue to grow in this home My Home My home is cozy and homey People talking and sometimes not A happy energy that my home gives off I can feel it jumping up and down My Home My home is as homey as a home can be It smells like my family I feel so happy to be here everyday; safe and warm The excitement I feel makes me jump as high as a kangaroo My Home How did my parents build this great home?
