Meaning of Home

Home for me is as astonishing as the sun. It's like pizza covered in melted ooey-gooey cheese. It makes me laugh and have fun while making memories with mom and dad. Home for me is not just four walls and a roof, but it's the love that makes it home. Home is where I watch tv while eating my delicious snacks with my family. When I wake up in the morning I feel the kisses from my joyful parents. Every day in the morning, I listen to the sarcastic conversations that make me laugh. It doesn't matter if you're weak or strong or rich or poor, you should always have a place to live in and call it home. While I have a nice place to live not everybody is lucky like me so they have to rely on Habitat for Humanity. Even if it's raining, snowing or a beautiful sunny day, they will still have a place to call home. They will be safe and protected while sleeping through the night. I am very grateful for my only home and I wish for everyone to enjoy their own no matter what it looks like. My hopes and dreams for writing this poem are to give everybody a place to live and make new memories. I hope these people find a way to grow and eventually sprout in their new home.
